Claire at the Fair

My daughter Claire submitted this entry of knitted desserts (don't forget the milk) to the Orange County Fair last month. She found the patterns for all of these pieces on the internet, picked the yarn colors, then knitted and assembled them--including the cute smiling faces. Claire was her Divsions Winner, won Best of Theme (Let's Eat!) and Judge's Award. Claire is 11 years old and this is her second time winning at the OC Fair. Her last submission, when she was 9, was a knitted and embroidered handbag which won for her division also (see photos below). I'm so proud of her and her accomplishments as a young knitter.
