The fourth project in this series is Brooklyn Mitts knitted up in Cascade 220 Superwash Sport.
This project uses one skein of each color: Summer Sky Heather and Silver Grey and is available on Craftsy, currently for just $5.95 per skein. Use the link below for "Cascade 220 Superwash Sport" and check out the other beautiful color combinations:
I made the smaller of the 2 sizes, using US 3 & US 4 DPNs. This yarn is a heavier gauge, knit on a smaller needle size, resulting in the circumference being 7.25" (versus 6.5" for the pattern sample done in fingering weight yarn), and the fabric is denser, more appropriate for cold-weather wear.

This pattern comes packaged with Brooklyn Boot Liners also, so if you're feeling motivated, you could also knitting up a matching pair for your boots.

So why are these a "Must-Knit"? Using 2 skeins of Cascade 220 Superwash, this project is definitely budget friendly! Although this project is not recommended for beginners, it is a relatively quick knit because of the size.

My goal is to share with you knitting tips & tricks and new ideas on how to wear hand-knitted accessories. If you enjoy my blog, please nominate me for the Craftsy Blogger Awards by clicking on the link below and you'll also be automatically entered for a chance to win a free online Craftsy class:
