The Chantilly Lace Ascot pattern is now available on Ravelry.
Chantilly is worked in 2 pieces, starting from the lace ends and joined in the center with 3-needle bind off. The yarn is Blue Sky Alpacas Worsted Hand Dyes in Lagoon, which is a beautiful, soft merino / alpaca blend with great stitch definition.
The lace pattern is a little complex--twisted stitches with patterning on both RS & WS rows, but the result is a really pronounced intricate design.
